Iman Khan (she/her) is a 4A Political Science and Economics student from Mississauga, Ontario.
As a current member of the Board of Directors of WUSA, Iman worked to ensure that student voices are represented in decisions that affect campus life. She has supported students in their interactions with CEE to ensure that their co-op experiences are smoother, more transparent, and equitable. She sit’s on WUSA’s Ownership Consultation Committee, where she helps collect student feedback to make sure their experiences with clubs, student services, and food on campus are heard.
Iman plans to continue working with CEE to expand job opportunities and broaden the range of roles available, ensuring more equitable access to meaningful work to all students. She hopes to see relevant and program-specific opportunities across all Faculties. She is committed to ensuring that WUSA continues to be a space where students can express their views on global issues, including Palestine, without fear of being silenced. She supports protecting students’ rights to advocate for human rights and international justice, and believes that the University should engage with these conversations in a way that is transparent, respectful, and accountable to the student body.
Iman loves creative writing and spends her free time working on short stories and ideas for future projects. She hopes to one day bring one of her stories to life on screen by writing a full screenplay.
